Raksha Khadase biography

Raksha Khadse is a political leader from Maharastra and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. She is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Maharastra’s Raver Lok Sabha constituency. She was born on May 13, 1987, in Khetiya, Madhya Pradesh, to her parents, Jagdish Mohan Patel and Anita Patel. She is the daughter-in-law of veteran politician Eknath Khadse.

She started her political career in 2010 after becoming Sarpanch of Kothali Grampanchayat before winning the Zilla Parishad election from Jalgaon. After the death of her husband, Nikhil Khadse, she contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Raver on BJP’s ticket and became the joint youngest MP of the 16th Lok Sabha. She retained her seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha election after winning by a landslide margin.

She was mistakenly classified as "homosexual" on the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) official website, which embroiled her name in controversy. Anil Deshmukh, the then home minister of Maharashtra, criticized the BJP for this false image, which infuriated and condemned people from a number of backgrounds.
