Poonch, Jan 12 (ANI): Around 5,000 boys participated in electronic police recruitment drive in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir. The police are using the new Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP) method using high-tech electronic gadget to avoid human intervention in the recruitment process. The participants were made to wear jackets equipped with electronic chips. The chips were connected to a computer, which transmitted all the data in the computers automatically. The venue of the recruitment drive, conducted electronically for the first time, was also equipped with cameras. Salaria added that due to the use of technology, there is minimum human intervention and very less chances of human or any other kind of error. Participants also seemed happy with the use of Transparent Recruitment Process and hoped recruitments through this technology would happen on a frequent basis. Jammu and Kashmir Police also conducted a recruitment rally at 5th Battalion ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police Force) campus in the state’s Leh region in December 2015 using the same Transparent Recruitment Process.
