A total of 410 offers were made across sectors. Consulting accounted for the largest share with 166 offers, representing 40 per cent of all placements. The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector followed with 105 offers.

IIM Nagpur MBA Placement 2023-25: The highest salary offers stood at Rs 69.57 LPA for final placements and Rs 2.70 lakh for summer internships, while the average packages were Rs 18.07 LPA and Rs 89,856, respectively.

IIT Placements 2024: IIT placements are held in two phases – the first phase in December and the second phase between January and June.

Decline in placements in elite colleges including IITs, NITs: Congress

According to claims, between 2021-22 and 2023-24, 22 out of 23 IITs recorded a decline in placements, and the drop was over 20 percentage points at 15 IITs. Further that in 2021-22, 90.43 per cent of BTech students from IITs who appeared for placements were placed but in 2023-24, only 80.25 per cent of them secured jobs.
