Babi's career trajectory began with Charitra (1973), followed by notable performances in Majboor (1974) and the breakthrough role in Deewaar (1975). Her filmography boasts a string of successful films, including Amar Akbar Anthony, Suhaag, Kaala Patthar, The Burning Train, Shaan, Kranti, Kaalia, and Namak Halaal. A testament to her popularity, she became the first Bollywood star featured on the cover of Time magazine in 1976. Her final film appearance was in Irada (1991) before her retirement from acting.
