The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) members had earlier sat on a protest outside the Vice Chancellor's office, saying that programs which divide the students on the basis of their religion, should not be allowed in the university.

The two-day seminar titled "Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple: Emerging Scenario" is scheduled to begin on January 9 at the Delhi University's Arts Faculty.
