An engineer by profession, Tsutomo Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima when the Americans dropped the first bomb. He survived by hiding in a shelter, and took the first train out of the city to make it to his job. His destination: Nagasaki. Incredibly, Yamaguchi survived the second blast as well.
