BJP, Congress lock horns over Karan Johar's 'intolerance' remark

New Delhi, Jan 22 (ANI): Reacting to Karan Johar's remark that freedom of expression in India is the 'biggest joke' Minister of State for Minority Affairs and BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday said those questioning tolerance are ignorant and have no knowledge of Indian culture. He said India is the only country where the intolerance power is so high and whosoever is raising questions has no knowledge about county's rituals. Minister of State for Culture and Tourism and Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma said no country is as tolerant as India. Meanwhile, Congress leader Manish Tewari said ever since BJP has come into power, everyone thinks they are not allowed to speak their ”Mann Ki Baat”. He added that except Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, who is supporting BJP, all the artists are against BJP's theory.
