Jai Prakash Rawat is a political leader from Uttar Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on April 16, 1958, in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, to his parents, the late Shri Jagannath Prasad and Smt Vidyawati. He completed his BA and LLB from Lucknow University.

His political career has been illustrious, marked by his election as a Member of Parliament from both the Mohanlalganj Lok Sabha Constituency and Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh. He has been elected to the Lok Sabha multiple times, most recently in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, where he contested and won from the Hardoi Lok Sabha seat on BJP’s ticket, displaying his popularity and effectiveness as a political leader.
