Happy Bhaag Jayegi but Diana Penty is here to stay

The star cast of Happy Bhaag Jayegi visited the national capital for promotions of the film ahead of its Friday release. Actors Abhay Deol, Diana Penty and Ali Fazal all looked glamourous and cool. A comeback of sorts for Diana and Abhay, Happy Bhaag Jayegi stars them as people from the opposite sides of the border. While Diana went missing after making an impressive debut in Cocktail, Abhay has also been awol from the scene for a while now. Diana is positive that she is here to stay as long as she gets challenging work. This is what the cast did in Delhi, take a look.

t looks like Diana Penty who was last seen in Cocktail won't look like her old self in this film. “I loved the entire experience as I play a typical Amritsari girl, who speaks her mind and got to have fun on screen. I don’t really care about the number game at box office, but I hope that the audience likes the film.” Penty said that she did a lot of homework for her role as she didn’t relate to character in real life. “I am a lot different than Happy, my character as I am not an extrovert and loud like her. I had to really learn the little things that make you a Punjabi, like eating local food at dhabas, observing the fashion and body language of Punjabi girls, getting the diction right. So, it’s quite special for me," she said in an interview previously.

“Amid all the superficial formula ingredients like good music, dance numbers, amazing locations and talented star cast, it has a good script and a treatment that has probably never been presented,” said Abhay Deol in an interview previously. The Deol brother was seen in a cool casual attire in jeans and white t shirt.

“I don’t make a movie for numbers; instead I make a movie for my audience. The only reaction I really care about is from my audience and that’s when I know that I have made a good film," said co producer Anand L Rai.

The film is set to release this Friday. If not numbers the actors and other team members have assured a good time.
