Two Chinese girls kidnapped in Amritsar

One of them was later found abandoned at Nawa Pind village on the outskirts of the city. The matter came to light when she raised the alarm and informed the police about the incident.

Two Chinese girls were allegedly kidnapped from the railway station here after they arrived from Jaipur on Sunday evening.

One of them was later found abandoned at Nawa Pind village on the outskirts of the city. The matter came to light when she raised the alarm and informed the police about the incident.

Deputy Commissioner of Police AS Chahal said one of the girls was found at Nawa Pind and with the help of the local people. she reached the police station.

The other girl was taken towards Chowk Mehta in a white car. We have launched a hunt to trace that girl, said Chahal.

Interacting with her was difficult as the girl spoke little English,the police said.
