The girl managed to escape from the hotel and came back to Delhi within 24 hours after which she reported the matter to the police.
A 17-year-old Delhi girl was allegedly gangraped by 10 persons in a hotel in Jaipur last week. The girl was allegedly taken to Jaipur on the pretext of a job by a married couple who live in her neighbourhood.
Police said six persons including the couple have been arrested, while a search is on to nab the rest. The police said a case of gangrape, human trafficking and kidnapping has been registered at Mangolpuri police station and teams are conducting raids at Jaipur. “The six persons arrested so far in connection with the incident have been identified as Rocky, Rani, Mahesh, Anil, Arjun and Kamal,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Vikramjit Singh.

According to the police, the girl was looking for a job and had approached Rocky and Rani, who lived in her locality and claimed to have given jobs to several women in Delhi-NCR and nearby cities.
“On August 30, the couple allegedly took the girl to Jaipur and booked her into a hotel where one of the accused, Mahesh, works as a manager. Mahesh and his associates allegedly raped her in turns over several hours until the girl managed to escape. She took a bus and reached Delhi on August 31,” said a police officer.
She then filed a complaint at Mangolpuri police station on September 1. Police said they first nabbed Rocky and Rani. “During questioning, they confessed that they had taken the girl to Jaipur to sell her. Later, a team was sent to Jaipur and Mahesh, Anil, Arjun and Kamal were arrested,” said a police officer.
“It also emerged that the same hotel was earlier raided by police as they suspected it was involved in running prostitution rackets,” said the officer, adding that the case has been registered under sections 372 (selling minor for purposes of prostitution, etc) and 376-2G (gangrape) of the IPC and relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Police said the girl’s father works as a vegetable vendor and is an alcoholic. The girl was on the lookout for a job to meet the daily needs of the family.
Police are now trying to ascertain the identities of the five accused who are absconding. CCTV footage obtained from the hotel and nearby premises is also being monitored.
“Police are also checking their records to ascertain if Rocky and Rani have criminal cases registered against them. Police are also trying to trace their earlier victims, if any,” the officer said.
