Based on the joint survey, navigational charts for Mkoani harbor and the approach to the harbor have been prepared by National Hydrographic Office of India.
The chart was handed over to Tanzanian authorities during the joint press statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tanzanian President John Magufuli shortly after their bilateral meeting in which the two sides signed an agreement under which India will provide a Line of Credit of USD 92 million for rehabilitation and improvement of Zanzibar’s water supply system.
