Ex-Governor of Madhya Pradesh Ram Naresh Yadav dies

Yadav served as the Madhya Pradesh Governor from August 26, 2011 to September 7, 2016.

Former Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav passed away on Tuesday at a hospital in Lucknow after prolonged illness. Yadav (90) breathed his last at PGI Lucknow this morning, an official said in Bhopal.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Public Relations and Water Resources Minister, Narottam Mishra have expressed grief over the demise of Yadav.

Yadav served as the Madhya Pradesh Governor from August 26, 2011 to September 7, 2016. The veteran Congress leader was also Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister from 1977-79.
