Alleging the role of local BJP MP and Union Minister Mahesh Sharma in the “conspiracy” that led to the lynching of Mohammad Akhlaq in Bisara village in Dadri, state Urban Development and Minority Welfare Minister Azam Khan has sent a letter to Divisional Commissioner of Meerut demanding a case be registered against Sharma.

“I have written a letter to Divisional Commissioner of Meerut for probing the role of local BJP MP into the Dadri incident. It was a well-planned conspiracy. A case should be registered against him in this incident,” Azam said while talking to reporters Saturday.
