They made headlines when they were a rumoured couple. Then they tied the knot and hogged the front page news everywhere. Even their vacation and honeymoon pictures made us enough jealous. So when we heard that newly weds Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover were all set to make their first onscreen appearance as a couple in an MTV show, we were thrilled to the core. But the happiness was short-loved as soon we heard that Bips has walked out of the show. And the latest news is kind of breaking our hearts even more. The duo seem to be no longer a part of the show all together!

Bipasha and Karan got married in April this year. Their ‘monkey wedding’ made as much news as their adorable wedding album too. Then they were off to a long beach vacation. Now that the two are back, they are looking to take up a project, but as a couple. MTV was quick to grab the opportunity and offered them its show Love School 2. All seemed well until the couple and the channel had some disagreements over the contract. Reports claim that the channel had a stipulated budget for the show, and the two stars did not fit in the allocated funds. The channel even tried to rope them for a few special episodes, when hosting the entire season fell apart. Though Bips-Karan loved the concept of the show and wanted to collaborate with MTV, but the deal couldn’t come through. The star couple and the channel have, however, vowed to try and team up together in future.

But due to Karishma-Upen parting ways in May this year, the channel began looking for another real life couple, and Bipasha-Karan seemed to be the best bet. We hope to see Bips-Karan onscreen soon.
