Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari to re-unite?

After collaborating on the National Award winning Best Children’s film in 2011, Chillar Party, directors Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari got busy with their own independent projects. While, Bahl made the Kangana Ranaut starrer, Queen, Tiwari’s next venture Bhoothnath Returns with Amitabh Bachchan is set to release soon. However, if things go according to plan, the duo may be seen working together once again on a project. “Such things cannot really be decided. But then, both Vikas and I have spoken about it. We don’t know when and how, but we’ll definitely come together for a film,” says Tiwari.
While Queen has been getting a rave response from all over, the promos of Bhoothnath Returns have also been highly appreciated, and both the directors are very appreciative of each others’ work as well. Tiwari added, “Vikas called me after he saw the promos of Bhoothnath Returns, and he told me he’s eagerly looking forward for the film to release.”

Kanagana to shoot the first schedule of Durga Rani Singh before Tanu Weds Manu 2

Kangana Ranaut will start filming for Sujoy Ghosh’s Durga Rani Singh in May. After shooting the first schedule of the film, she will start shooting for Anand Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu 2. The actress, who won accolades for playing the feisty Rani in Queen, will now be playing the role of a 35 – year – old mother to a 14- year – old girl. The news was confirmed by her spokesperson. It will be one of Ranaut’s most challenging roles, as the actress has only played ‘young’ characters till date. Reportedly, she will require prosthetic make – up to transform herself into an older woman. The actress will also be seen in another woman—oriented film, Revolver Rani, that will release on April 25.
