Ravi Kishan has three releases in 2014
The actor plays a don named Davidoff in Desi Magic

Ravi Kishan, who was busy campaigning for the Indian National Congress and lost 2014 LokSabha election from Jaunpur constituency in Uttar Pradesh, is back to what he loves doing best, acting. Besides his Bhojpuri films, the actor, who is quite excited about his forthcoming Hindi films, reveals that his next release might be Mohalla Assi, Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s film based on Dr. Kashinath Singh’s popular Hindi novel Kashi Ka Assi and set in the post-independence period. “I am looking forward to the film which has Sunny Deol and me in important roles. I have completed my portion of dubbing for the film and presently Sunny is dubbing his lines. The delay in the release is because of some misunderstanding between the makers which has now got cleared and the film is likely to see a post-monsoon release,” said the actor who has a political satire set for September release. Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho is based on a real incident in Rajasthan and also stars Om Puri, Sanjay Mishra and Annu Kapoor. “The film is complete and I am dubbing for it,” he said.
Ravi Kishan also plays a don by the name of Davidoff in good friend Ameesha Patel’s home production Desi Magic. The film, he says is set for November-December release, as only a last shooting schedule is pending. “I play a don who is in love with one of the characters played by Ameesha Patel who has a double role. It is an amazing, fun film in which she has put her heart and soul. Moreover, I have a new avatar in the film,” says the actor who is also part of Global Baba, a film based on spiritual babas who are followed blindly by thousands of devotees. “I play an Asaram type of figure in this satirical film that I have finished doing,” sums up Ravi Kishan.
