What’s even more endearing is when she talks about him. “I think he’s the best father I could have ever asked for. The way he has brought us up, he’s given us all the freedom to do everything that we want to. He’s just so cool. He’s amazing and likes everyone he meets. He’s always been so liberal and open-minded. I truly feel blessed to have a father like him.”

That Randeep Hooda is fond of horses is well known, but it seems the actor also adores dogs. When he saw an abandoned pariah pup six years ago, he simply adopted her and named her Candy. In time he became so fond of the dog that he refuses to tie her or lock her up in a room when he has guests who are scared of dogs. “This is Candy’s house, so she is free to go and sit anywhere. The guests just have to deal with it,” is what he says.
