Anupam Kher denies playing a politician in Singham 2

Though he confirms doing Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2, the actor denies playing a politician in the film. “I play Ajay Devgn’s guru and am called guruji in the film. However, politics is the background of the film,” said Kher, who has also signed Sooraj Barjatya’s untitled movie starring Salman Khan.
“In Sooraj’s film I have a pivotal role, but I am not playing father to any character. Sooraj is back after four to five years and has come up with a brilliant script. I am also very excited about the other projects like Dawat-E-Ishq, which once again has a fabulous story by Habib Faisal.

In Habib’s film, I play Parineeti Chopra’s father, while in David Dhawan’s Main Tera Hero, I play a stylish villain” said the actor who also has Total Siyapaa, O Teri and Gang Of Ghosts coming up. Kher who had made a mark in the Hollywood flick, Silver Linings Playbook, revealed that he has auditioned for another Hollywood film too.

The crew cut

The makers of Haider have revealed one of the four looks that Shahid Kapoor will sport in the film. With close cropped hair and wearing a pheran, the actor looks every bit a Kashmiri. After shooting some scenes with this look, Kapoor will then go bald as the shooting progresses. Presently shooting in Kashmir, Haider also stars Shraddha Kapoor and is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj.
