Taking the mask off — literally, Vikram plays Love who is the villain of the piece. A cat-and-mouse game is on between the two Vikrams. The film was stuck for some time after a casting dispute took place, While earlier Kajal Aggarwal and Priya Anand were signed to play the two female leads in the film, they finally opted out. Lot of names were suggested for the two roles till Nayantara and Nithya Menon finally signed on the dotted line.
