Mishti Chakraborty happy to be part of India’s second largest film industry

‘Kaanchi: The Unbreakable’ fame Mishti Chakraborty, who recently made her Telugu debut in ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’, says she’s happy to part of the country’s second largest film industry after Bollywood.

“I was offered ‘Chinnadanaa…’ soon after my Hindi debut. I wasn’t apprehensive about working in a Telugu film because I was happy that I’ll be part of the second largest film industry (of the country),” Mishti told IANS.

In her Telugu film debut, she features with Nithiin Reddy. She didn’t find the language to be a challenge because the hero came to her rescue.

“Nithiin helped me whenever I got stuck with my dialogues. My director as well as other members of the crew helped me to great extent,” she said.

‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’, a romantic-comedy, is currently running in cinemas.

Recalling one of the best moments of the film, Mishti said she thoroughly enjoyed shooting in Barcelona.

“I loved shooting in Barcelona because people there are so friendly. They are also crazy about Indian films. It’s the best place to shoot romantic films because you can always feel romance in the air. Everything is so beautiful,” she said.

Mishti has been approached with more scripts, but she’s yet to officially sign any film.

“I’ve been offered a few films but I’m just waiting to choose the best from it,” she added.
