Dulquer Salmaan, Parvathy win top honours at Kerala State Film awards
Young actors Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy have won the Best Actor and Actress awards at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards, announced today (March 1).

Young actors Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy have won the Best Actor and Actress awards at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards, announced today (March 1). Sanal Kumar Sasidharan-directed ‘Ozhivudivasathe Kali’ (A off-day game) was selected as the Best Feature film. Sasidharan had won the Best Director award last year.
While Dulquer won the top honours for his role in Charlie, where he played the role of a vagabond, Parvathy bagged the award for her performance in ‘Ennu Ninde Moideen’.
‘Amoeba’, directed by Manoj Kana, won the award for second Best Picture while Martin Prakkat, director of ‘Charlie’ won the award for the best director. Read Review of Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie
Veteran singer P Jayachandran won the award for best playback singer for ‘Sarathambaram’ song in Ennu Ninde Moideen while Madhushree Narayan became the best singer in the female category for her song in ‘Edavapathi’. Not teaming up with Dulquer Salmaan, Hansika Motwani: Hareesh Narayan
Yet again, Ramesh Narayanan was chosen as the Best Music director for his songs in “Edavapathi” and ‘Ennu Ninde Moideen,’
Writer Unni R and Martin Prakkat shared the award for the best screen play for the movie ‘Charlie.’ Jomon T John was chosen as the best cinematographer for his works in movies ‘Ennu Ninde Moideen’, ‘Charlie’ and ‘Nee-na.’
