Halle Berry doing okay post divorce from Olivier Martinez

The “Monster’s Ball” actress said has been doing okay since the split while appearing at a charity event for domestic violence prevention and intervention organisation, Jenesse Center Inc, reported Extra.

“Whenever you’re going through anything in life, when you step outside yourself and focus on others, that’s always the best remedy for any situation that you’d rather not be dealing with,” Berry said.

When asked whether her seven-year old daughter Nahla was aware of how strong her mother and been since the split and becoming a single parent, Berry added: Oh yeah, you should be in my house!”

The actress also said that her one-year old son Maceo had chicken pox over Halloween and could not go out trick-or-treating.
