Avengers: Infinity War to introduce new Marvel character

“We already have our hands full trying to tell the story we have without pre-existing characters,” Anthony said.

“Anthony would probably die from exhaustion if we introduced another character,” Joe said, while but his brother added: “That’s not to say we’re not going to introduce a new character.”

When asked if the character in question could be Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Anthony replied: “That’s one we’re going to have to plead the fifth on.”

And after Anna Kendrick recently revealed her interest in playing Squirrel Girl, the directors are enthusiastic.

Joe said: “It would be perfect casting, and we’re huge Anna Kendrick fans.”
Recently Disney confirmed that Marvel’s upcoming sci-fi action Avengers: Infinity War, which was supposed to be in two parts, will now be a standalone film.

Disney will still release Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War as planned on May 4, 2018. But what was slated to be the second part in that story, Avengers: Infinity War Part II, has now been renamed as an Untitled Avengers project while retaining the May 3, 2019 release date, reported Deadline. Both the films feature Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.

Production of Avengers: Infinity War is expected to begin later this year. Anthony and Joe Russo are directing from a script by the writing team of Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely.
