Instead of a Marvel short like the studio often offered in the past, an alternate ending and an extended version are among the special features included in the home video release, reported Ace Showbiz.

The second instalment of “The Avengers” has hit theatres overseas. It breaks Marvel’s international box office opening records.

The film marks Joss Whedon’s last movie in Marvel.

Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner return as the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Johnson join the team as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver respectively.
