Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani launch poetry book of Abhijat Joshi’s daughter

Vidhu Vinod Chora: Anushka is a very talented girl.

Bollywood filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani came together to launch a poetry book penned by Hirani’s ‘PK’ and ‘3 Idiots’ co-writer, Abhijat Joshi’s 18-year-old daughter, Anushka Joshi.

Since first meeting with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Abhijat has co-written almost all the films produced under Vinod Chopra’s banner. Hence, Vindu and Hirani came forward to lend their support to his daughter, Anushka who has compiled a book of phenomenal poems.

The themes of her poems range from the last moments of the Pompeii civilization to wondrous moments of scientific discovery, and the silent resilience of war victims.

“Anushka is a very talented girl. There is maturity in her writing and we are always happy to support excellence,” said Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
