The actor was seen sporting long tresses and a beard as he was escorted by the crew in Amritsar. The newly engaged heartthrob shared a picture of his new look on Instagram as well. However, this one had a blue streak. Apparently, Shahid Kapoor who was last seen in ‘Haider’ experimented with close to 15 looks for the upcoming film. The actor met with different stylists to finalise the look for the Abhishek Chaubey film. From sporting short hair, to a messy shaggy look, ponytail, coloured hair – Shahid has tried it all. He also grew a French beard to see if it goes with his character. Apart from that, the Kapoor lad had been pumping some iron in the gym to build his physique and we're sure his abs are going to do the talking. Also starring Shahid’s former flame Kareena Kapoor Khan, his ‘Shaandaar’ co-star Alia Bhatt, ‘Udta Punjab’ revolves around substance abuse.
