Ranveer Singh has gone ahead and shaved off his head for playing Peshwa Bajirao in the magnum opus.

The shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has started and the stars who feature in it – Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone – have finally started donning the look they need to adapt in the movie.

While Priyanka Chopra recently tweeted her look in the movie (Read – Priyanka Chopra’s ‘princely’ start to ‘Bajirao Mastani’, gives us a glimpse of her royal look), Ranveer Singh’s look in the movie has gone viral too.

Ranveer Singh has gone ahead and shaved off his head for playing Peshwa Bajirao in the magnum opus. He was apparently quite excited about going bald, as he had tweeted some days back.

The recently released movie ‘Haider’ had actor Shahid Kapoor going bald for the titular role, which earned him love from the critics and audiences alike. It remains to be seen what good does this movie does for the young actor, considering that he is already riding high on acclaim.

Reports suggest that Ranveer Singh has gone underground as he doesn’t want to be seen around with the new look.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is slated to release in December 2015.
