Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently busy with her new project, Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ along with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

For the first time, the actress will be seen playing the role of a Bihari migrant in the film. We hear that this is the toughest and most intense role that Alia has ever played.

While, she has played a girl hailing from urban backgrounds previously, Ali has never plated a rural character. In Udta Punjab, Alia is a daily wage labourer who comes to Punjab for job prospects.

‘Udta Punjab’ revolves around the issue of drug abuse in Punjab.
