We have been told that when Shahid went to select card design for reception and he was clear about what he wanted. “When we met Shahid to discuss about his wedding card, he told us at the very first meeting that he was clear about what he wanted for his reception. He did not want the traditional celebration where the bride and groom sit in chairs and shake hands. He wanted it to be a celebration, a party that people enjoyed and were excited about. He wanted the card to convey that feeling and he definitely wanted it in midnight blue.”

Designed beautifully on a blue plyke paper, Shahid Kapoor’s reception card was given an elegant feel with an art deco border.
“We used a blue plyke paper, which has a depth to the paper; we chose an art deco border that gives it a classic elegant feel yet is celebratory.”

“Centered in the card is a chrome plate that contains the event information, this plate can be removed and is carried by the guests to the event, which doubles up as the security pass. The details are made of silver-plating, which gives the card a cool elegant sophisticated feel,” Ravish Kapoor’s office added.
