Eros backs out of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’?

Eros have apparently backed out of ‘Shivaay’ because the budget for the film turned out to be an astronomical Rs. 90 crores.Mumbai

Ajay Devgn‘s next venture ‘Shivaay‘ has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. Now we hear that Eros, who had earlier come on board as producers for the film, have apparently backed out of the project. While the buzz in the industry states that Eros backed out of Devgn’s magnum opus since the budget for the film turned out to be an astronomical Rs. 90 crores, sources in the production house have a different story to tell.

Speaking about the same a source close to the production giant says, “No Shivaay is still on, and Eros is still producing the film. It has just been delayed because of the weather conditions.” The trade circles however are abuzz with the news that the film is shelved.

Shivaay, that was expected to go on floors in February this year is Ajay Devgn’s second directorial venture.
