Salman Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’was named as the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 63rd National Film Awards announced in Delhi on Monday (March 28).
Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, delves onto the concept of India and Pakistan, wherein Bajrangi (Salman) embarks on taking a mute six-year-old Pakistani girl (Harshaali Malhotra) separated in India from her mother back to her hometown in Pakistan.
The film also had Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor in important roles.
