Saying leaders must focus on inequality and move away from the majority-minority politics, Union Minister Piyush Goyal Sunday said that such politics had caused a lot of harm to the world.

Speaking at a panel discussion during the Art of Living event, Goyal, MoS Coal (Independent charge), spelt out the challenges before leaders and said, “An inclusive society should move out of the old mindset of majority and minority. Each one of us is a majority in one place, each one of us is a minority in another place.”
Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu and MoS External Affairs General (Retd) V K Singh were among the union ministers present at the panel discussion. About inclusive development in a globalised world, he said leaders must address “inequalities”, which should not be viewed from a “religious or political” prism.
