Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal today tweeted demanding that the BJP apologize for its portrayal of Anna Hazare in a newspaper campaign advertisement. The BJP published a cartoon in which it mocked Kejriwal for falsely swearing on his children that he would never join hands with the Congress party. The saffron party alleged that Kejriwal had a habit of changing colours and that the voters of Delhi would do well not to trust him. The BJP's sneering cartoon was aimed at Kejriwal's earlier stint in power, when his government was supported by the Congress party from outside. Nathuram Godse killed Gandhiji on this day in 1948. BJP has killed Anna in its ad today. Shudn't BJP apologise? — Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) January 30, 2015 But what has sparked AAP leader's anger is that the BJP showed a garlanded portrait of Anna Hazare in its cartoon. Kejriwal's tweet was re-tweeted close to 1,500 times. During this campaign for Delhi polls, both the BJP and AAP have aggressively hit out against each other on social media.
