The UAE bowlers and fielders had a tough time against Bangladesh, with Muhammad Jawadullah standing out by taking 3 wickets with his skillful variations. Saghir Khan also chipped in with 2 wickets. Now, UAE faces a challenging target, but given their promising performance in the first game, a more mature effort from them could potentially help them chase it down. Bangladesh got off to a flying start, with the opening pair adding 90 runs. Tanzid Hasan was in superb form, showcasing an aggressive approach and top-scoring with 59 runs. Litton Das struggled slightly for his 40 off 32 balls, while Tawhid Hridoy played a supporting role and scored a quickfire 45.

The decision to ask Bangladesh to bat first has backfired on Waseem, as Bangladesh posted a strong total of 205 runs after being asked to bat first.

PITCH REPORT - It's the same surface as the first game. The pitch looks hard and without much grass. There could be some true bounce for the pacers and some swing up front. The bowlers need to apply themselves. The batters will get full value for their shots.

Bangladesh's victory in the first T20I was built on a strong batting performance, highlighted by Parvez Hossain Emon's century. Emon's 54-ball 100 helped Bangladesh post 191 in 20 overs. The Bangladeshi bowlers then restricted UAE to 164, with Hasan Mahmud grabbing three wickets and four other bowlers sharing the remaining wickets.
