Right on the heels of Magnus Carlsen -- who has 15 points after nine rounds with one game to go -- are Gukesh (14.5 points) and Hikaru Nakamura (13 points)
Former world champion also reckons that Gukesh has to enjoy the breaks between the tournaments as it's not advisable to get mentally tired by playing non-stop.
Humpy now has Ju and another former world champion Lei Tingjie standing in her path to winning the title at Norway Chess. Vaishali is fifth in the six-women standings, just half a point behind Lei, with two rounds remaining.
