Syrian rebels make gains, seize control of Aleppo amid ongoing conflict
Syrian rebels launched a surprise attack on Aleppo, seizing control of the city and capturing over 50 towns and villages in northwestern Syria. This bold move marks the first time since 2016 that opposition forces have gained territory in Aleppo.
