First step to upgrading: All those with genuine and updated Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS will see the "Get Windows 10 App" on their PCs, tablets, mobiles. The app gives an option to reserve. Windows 10 is also brings Cortana with it. You can cancel the reservation any time. Sadly those who are running Pirated OS will have to pay for Windows 10. The upgrade will take over 20 minutes on new devices and over one hour on older devices, says Microsoft. Of course all of this depends on your Internet connection. In order to know if your device is compatible, you can use the Get Windows 10 app to do a compatibility check. Click the menu in the upper left of the app, and select “Check your PC” or “Your PC is good to go.” It will give details of what the minimum specs requirements are for Windows 10.
