Modi in Varanasi: How PM’s 1st visit to his constituency since Lok Sabha polls looked

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday released Rs 20,000 crore for more than 9.26 crore farmers as part of the Central government’s flagship PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme in Varanasi. This was Modi's first visit to his constituency since he assumed the prime minister's office for the third consecutive term. (PTI)

UP Governor Anandiben Patel, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak among others were also present at the event. (PTI)
