PM Narendra Modi will spend three days in Italy, starting Friday. In the first order of business, the PM met with European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen. (PTI)
PM Modi’s main agenda in Italy, however, is the G-20 meeting. In a statement, the Prime Minister said that he expects to hold “discussions on global economic and health recovery from the pandemic, sustainable development, and climate change” with world leaders in Rome. (PTI)
This is the first in-person G-20 meet, which Indian Prime Minister is also attending, since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. (PTI)
