Most watched Indian television shows in week 40: Bigg Boss 11 opens to average numbers, Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 continues to top charts

The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) ratings for week 40 are here. While Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati maintained its position as the numero uno show in the urban market. Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 opened to average numbers and is placed at the number 11 slot. Since it’s only the opening day numbers, makers are positive that it will rise in the coming days. Kundali Bhagya secured its place at the second spot and Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 is at the third position. Udaan and Shakti - Astitva Ek Ehsaas Ki are placed at the fourth and fifth slot, respectively.
