Tell us: Should govt give in to Didi’s demand for fare hike rollback?

Angered by Dinesh Trivedi’s proposal to hike fares in the Railway Budget,mercurial Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee wrote to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and ‘demanded’ removal of Trivedi and replace him with her right-hand man Mukul Roy,currently Minister of State for Shipping,who had earlier served in the Railway Ministry.

The Prime Minister has no choice but to agree to Didi’s demand to change the minister. But will the government ‘bow down’ to her demand for a change in the Rail Budget?
