RTS Act from Monday: DC

The Right To Service (RTS) act will be implemented in all Ludhiana offices from August 29. DC Rahul Tiwari said,“We have sent a few suggestions to the state government regarding the act and are awaiting their comments. But i have intimated the heads of the departments of all government offices to implement it in letter and spirit from August 29. A total of 67 services come under RTS and employees are supposed to provide service in stipulated time failing which they will not only be fined but also charge-sheeted.
