While it was Mammootty who has been chosen the best actor,for his performance in Paleri Manikyam Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Katha,its Shwetha Menon who is the best actress,for the same film. Paleri Manikyam ,directed by Ranjith has bagged the award for the best film while M.P.Sukumaran Nairs Raamanam bagged the award for the second best film.

Jagathy Sreekumar gets the special jury award for his contributions to various films. P. Sukumar,cinematographer-turned- director gets the award for the best debutant director,for Swa Le,while Ividam Swargamaanu directed by Rosshan Andrrews,gets the award for the Best Popular Film with artistic value.
