Nicole:HC asks CBI to file status report

The CBI on Thursday apprised the Calcutta High Court that it registered the Nicole Tamang missing case on Wednesday and started investigation. Following such submission,a Division Bench of Chief Justice Jaynarayan Patel and Justice Ashim Kumar Roy asked the CBI to file a status report on the progress of the investigation within four weeks. The case will come up for hearing on February 17. CBI’s public prosecutor Himangsu De today pleaded investigation in Madan Tamang killing and Nicole Tamang missing cases is underway.
