“When I was very young,I used to watch Marathi singer Devaki Pandit perform on television and was really impressed. I tried to imitate the songs she played on the synthesiser. That is when my parents discovered that I had a flair for music,” says Subodh Parkhi. They have always supported me.” Although Subodh is currently studying computer science at Modern College,he wishes to pursue a career in music. “I have recently developed a great interest in classical music,” he says,“For the past nine years I have trained in folk music, but I would very much like to train in classical music as well.
