Jammu: Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Jammu,the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir,on December 1.
The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the BJP has geared up to ensure maximum participation in the rally at M A M Stadium,state party president Jugal Kishore Sharma said on Sunday.
Sharma,leader of the legislative party Ashok Khajuria and state general secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul on Sunday held a meeting with Jammu district leaders in the evening to seek suggestions and issue directions to party activists in order to make the event historic. Sharma said on December 1 Modi will be in city of temples to speak on the issues and problems confronting the state as well as the nation and make public his stand on them. He appealed to party activists to reach every nook and corner of the state to brief the people about the rally.
Rally in Dehradun on December 15
Modi will also address a rally in Dehradun on December 15,party sources said on Sunday.
The rally will be held on Parade Ground here,state BJP leader Radha Mohan Singh said. PTI
I am enough to face Narendra Modi,says Beni
Gonda (UP): Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma on Sunday said he was enough to face BJP leader Narendra Modi and Congress would win 50 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. I am enough to face BJP’s PM in waiting. Blessings of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are also with me, he said. His comments came on the heels of Modi’s rally in Bahraich. Beni claimed that Congress enjoys the backing of Muslim voters in Uttar Pradesh where the party will win 50 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats. Muslims in UP are openly with Congress, Beni said. Beni said that the dream of Modi of becoming prime minister will never be fulfilled,and he would deliver speeches from the fake Red Fort all throughout his life.
