Man commits suicide over financial deal

Prabh Mehar Singh,a resident of Fatehabad,committed suicide on Tuesday by consuming a poisonous substance over a financial dealing. The people to whom he had lent money reportedly refused to return it. He feared that the accused might kill him. Three persons,identified as Daljit Singh,and his brothers-in-law Sonu and Monu,have been booked under sections 306,34 of the IPC on the complaint of Prabh Mehar’s mother,Baljit Kaur. Sukhbir Singh,SHO of Shahid Udham Singh Nagar police station,where the case has been registered,said Prabh Mehar was under stress after the accused refused to return the amount. He added that the body has been sent for postmortem. Police have reportedly recovered a suicide note.
