Major bureaucratic reshuffle in UT

In a major reshuffle,the Chandigarh Administration gave new postings to eight HCS and PCS officers who are on deputation to the UT.

In a major reshuffle,the Chandigarh Administration on Thursday gave new postings to eight HCS and PCS officers who are on deputation to the UT.

M L Sharma has been posted as the Additional Deputy Commissioner. He will also hold the charge of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Central),Additional Labour Commissioner and Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioner. Sunil Bhatia is the new Additional Commissioner,Municipal Corporation,replacing T P S Phoolka,who is the new Divisional Manager,Chandigarh Transport Undertaking.

Rahul Gupta has been posted as Controller,Printing and Stationery,and will also look after the posts of Additional IG (Prisons),Superintendent (Model Jail,Burail),Director (Sports) and Director (Science and Technology).

S S Khara has been posted as Joint Secretary (Finance,Urban Planning,Housing,Engineering,Technical Education),Head of Department,Government College of Art,and Director (Technical Education).

Sandeep Hans is the new Director Public Instructions (Schools) and Ritu Chaudhary is Chief Executive Officer,Chandigarh Housing Board. Jaswinder Kaur has been given the charge of Director,Museum and Art Gallery,and will also hold the post of Project Director,Beant Singh Memorial. M M Sabharwal has been given the additional charge of Joint Director (Rural Development and Panchayat),Nodal Officer (State Agricultural Marketing Board) and Joint Secretary (State Agricultural Marketing Board).
