‘Krrish 3’ gets its own range of jewellery

'Krrish 3' jewellery line was not part of a marketing strategy, rather it evolved organically.

There are works inspired by a tangible theme and then there are those that find their roots in a philosophy,or a belief.

For jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali,it was the latter that prompted her to come up with her most recent collection — the ‘Krrish’ line.

Essentially a set of 11 products that vary from pendants on silver chains, leather chord neckpieces (for men),lapel pins, mobile charms and masks, this is the first time that the jewellery designer has created a collection centred around a movie.

She also emphasises that this was an interesting project as the film doesn’t have any historical or mythological storyline.

“This line was not part of a marketing strategy, rather it evolved organically. I was discussing the film with Hrithik (Roshan, also her brother-in-law) when I realised that Krrish is not just about a superhero; it is about the superhero in all of us. Accordingly,I designed a special symbol resembling a bolt of lightning to capture the exemplary courage of the everyday hero,” she says, adding that the range — with prices starting at Rs 2,000 — is affordable.

Moreover, this pret line will be available along her fine jewellery pieces on her newly launched web portal.
